
Bio
Abbie Bela is a London-based actor, creator and full-time international Renaissance woman.
Abbie appeared in a dramatic role at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 with Chaika: First woman in Space, where she played the famous Russian cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova.
A citizen of the world, Abbie was born in Poland to the momentous sound of a crumbling Berlin Wall and has since lived in the USA, UK, Vietnam, and Argentina.
Abbie was awarded a Diploma in Acting for Stage & Screen from Acting Coach Scotland in 2019, grounding her professionally within the UK creative scene. More recently, Abbie has been taking method classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She is also attending funny school at The Groundlings Theatre and School.
Alongside acting credentials, Abbie has a background in psychology and reads Sigmund Freud for fun.
Abbie is a native speaker of English and Polish. She also speaks some Spanish.
Her most recent actorly exploit is Steve Exeter’s mystery & adventure comedy: Full Bodied (pre-production), where Abbie will be a feminist archaeologist with a secret.
